Script

Hi Guys,

Here is the script for our play!
The legend goes like this:Kia=K, Tiffany=T, XingLu=X, Morgan=M, Joey=J.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scene 1
*in K's solar*
T: Oh, my lady, it is absolutely beautiful! *points at K's dress*
K: Why thank you Spinster, the dress you have made for me is surely the most gorgeous I have ever seen! I shall wear it to the Church this eve, and then to my Lord's feast. It must have taken you so long to make it!
T: Yes, it took about a year to make this fine piece of work, but it is of course worth it because I got to make a dress for a Lady like you.
K: Thank you Spinster, I can not say that I deserve this dress, I am but 12 years of age.
T: Of course you deserve this dress m'lady. What an honour t'is to make a dress for the Lord Arthur's most wondrous daughter Lady Liliana.
K: Of course, I have not seen my father since I became Lady-in-Waiting to Lady Faylinn. I suppose I shall see him at my wedding in two or three years. Anyhow, I must be off. I wish to be early to church.
T: How will you get there if nobody accompanies you m'lady?
K: My father taught me to ride a horse before I left to come here. Are you not coming to Church?
T: I shall, but first I must finish making this thread for next year's dress.
K: Oh alright. I must leave now. It shall not do to be late to Church!
Scene 2
*in front of Church*
K: *dismounts horse* Oh good, I am early.
X: Good day m'Lady! *calls from atop ladder, fixing window*
K: Good day Peasant!
M: *badly juggling* Haloo m'Lady! Fancy a show before you leave to pray?
K: I suppose Jester *sits on log*
M: *tries to catch a ball, accidentally elbows X's ladder*
X: *falls off of ladder, lands on spare glass on ground* Ahhhhh!
M: Whoops.
X: I'm cut! Help me! *lies on ground*
T: *arrives* Oh my! What happened?
K: The poor man fell!
T: What shall we do?
K: I have been taught medicine-making by my mistress. I shall go to the church's herb garden, gather herbs, and make a poultice to sooth his wounds.
X: Help me...
M: Hurry m'lady!
Scene 3
K: Herbs... herbs... where is it? Where is it? *searches through garden*
J: My lady? What brings you hither to this holy garden?
K: Sister, there is a man who was working on the church window. He has fallen from a ladder and is cut Sister, and I am looking for the correct herbs to heal him.
J: Child, the herbs you seek are here *points at herbs*.  Come, I shall help you pick them, and then we shall heal the man.
K: Thank you kind Sister.
Scene 4
K: There he is Sister!
J: Come, child.
T: Praise the lord! The lady hath brought a holy woman! Please, use these spinning sticks to spread the medicine on him.
K: *spreads medicine* Thank you.
X: Ungh...
K: Wait! I need something that will bind his arm! Does anybody have fabric with them?
T: I have some linen! *gives linen*
K: Thank you again Spinster.
J: *prays over X*
X: I... *looks at arm* I am healed!
M: Miraculous!
T: Praise be to God!
M: How does thou arm feel, man?
X: As good as it was when I was born!
K: Amazing!
J: God hath not failed us.
M: Well I do believe it is time for Church.
J: Yes, you are correct Jester.
K: Let us go.
Scene 5
*manor house, great hall*
K: *calls out to offstage* I will be back Lord William! *bumps into M*
M: Haloo my lady.
K: Oh hello Jester. Are you entertaining My Lord?
M: Yes. I must soon be off. do you mind if I ask who that man William is?
K: Oh, he is the son of a lord that I am betrothed to, and shall wed in two or three years.
M: You have met him already?
K: Yes, the lord and lady I stay with introduced us earlier today, as they wished that we meet.
M: I see. Well, I must go, the Lord expects me. G'day m'lady.
Scene 6
X: *waving goodbye to J* Goodbye Sister. Thank you for healing me. I must go eat dinner with my family.
J: God bless you.
X: As well you. *walks away, runs into T*
T: Oh hello sir. How art thou arm?
X: Much better thank you.
T: Off to dinner with your family?
X: Yes, and you?
T: Off to make more thread.
X: I see. Well goodbye Spinster. Have a lovely season.
T: As should you sir. Goodbye!
